Alla ricerca di tele adatte a completare l’arredo del nascente
Smeraldo Suites & Spa, ho conosciuto Timoteo Sceverti, un
artista che un po’ per caso corteggiava un’idea e che per
passione l’ha trasformata in progetto; un progetto nato dal
colore.
Dopo un viaggio d’ispirazione marina, le prime stesure pro-
ponevano linee indefinite su colori uniformi, profumo di
oceano e di mare. Dopo aver capito che quella mano era il
giusto connubio di freschezza, libertà ed estro materico, ab-
biamo intrapreso un percorso alla ricerca delle giuste gam-
me cromatiche che donassero alle nostre camere un perfetto
tocco di colore. E così, spingendosi tra le tonalità del turche-
se, verde smeraldo fino all’indaco e porpora, Timoteo è riu-
scito a regalarci una collezione che ben si addiceva all’idea
di atmosfera che volevamo rendere, ossia un luogo dove
l’accoglienza è incontro di emozioni e stati d’animo, dove la
materia trasla la sua essenza nella reale immaginazione di
orizzonti, maree, tramonti variopinti.
La collezione Smeraldo, il progetto di un artista, il regalo di
un amico.
While searching for suitable paintings with which to complete the
furnishing of the emerging Smeraldo Suites & Spa, I met the artist
Timoteo Sceverti who, by chance, was pursuing an idea at the time.
Thanks to his passion he managed to turn it into a successful project;
a project originating through colour.
After a trip of marine inspiration, the first drafts proposed indefinite
lines on uniform colours, the scent of the ocean and the sea.
After realising that Timoteo Sceverti’s creative hand gave just the
right balance of freshness, freedom and material creativity, we em-
barked on a journey in search of the right colour ranges which would
give our rooms that perfect touch of colour.
And so, going for shades of turquoise, emerald green, indigo and vio-
let, Timoteo was able to provide us with a collection that is well-
suited to the idea of atmosphere that we wanted to create, i.e. a place
where hospitality is a coming together of emotions and moods, where
the essence of matter is translated into the real imagination of hori-
zons, tides and multicoloured sunsets.
